***SOLD*** Outstanding Super Grade in ultra RARE 7mm Mauser (7x57). This rifle has one of the nicest pieces of wood I have seen on a Model 70 with its bright honey color and beautiful grain pattern. This is also a transition era rifle between pre and post war, made for only about 3 years 1946-48. It retains the pre war clover leaf receiver tang, but has a smooth topped and factory drilled receiver bridge and the unique clam shell safety. S/N 81*** with matching scribed bolt made in 1948. 97% Blue, 97% Varnish. 24" Barrel. Excellent bore and mechanics. All correct components throughout including deluxe stock, SG swivels, Redfield 254 front sight, etc. Very nice rifle in a nearly impossible to find caliber/configuration.
