Description:
A factory letter accompanies this amazing special order 1st Model K-22 Outdoorsman confirming the rare grip adapter and overall configuration. One of two K-22’s that were special ordered by the Lawrence, Massachusetts Police Department for Officer William Richter and Officer Areas J Curtin on March 21, 1935. The gun is equipped with a 6” barrel, original factory grip adapter, silver call bead front sight, original bright blue finish and both the original rear sight blade as well as a King white outline rear blade which has the original envelope. Note the amazingly well preserved red picture box which is every bit as fabulous as the gun itself! The gun retains 99% of the original bright blue finish and is stunning from end to end. The numbers matching silver medallion service stocks are super crisp and mint. Overall a must-own investment grade K-22 from 1935 with great provenance and special order configuration!
