PLEASE SEE LEROY THOMPSON'S FINE BOOK ENTITLED; "COMMANDO DAGGER", PAGE 134. THE PICTURED KNIFE IS IDENTICLE, ALTHOUGH THE PICTURED STILETTO HAS THE BERET FLASH OF THE 3rd SPECIAL FORCES GROUP, ABN. FT. BRAGG, N.C. SOME SF MEMBERS ATTACHED THE BERET FLASH TO THE CROSSGUARD. THIS SUPERBLY CRAFTED 7" FULL LENGTH STILLETO BLADE BY TAK FUKUTA IS RAZOR SHARP & DOUBLE EDGED, AND IS IN PRISTINE MINT CONDITION, AS IS THE SCABBARD. THE BLADE RICASSO IS STAMPED "STAINLESS JAPAN 373", THE OTHER SIDE RICASSO IS STAMPED "VALOR MIAMI". THE SUPERB FINE LEATHER WASHER HANDLE IS TIGHT, W/O ANY MOVEMENT. IT COMES WITH THE ORIGINAL FACTORY BOX. THERE IS A SMALL REPAIR TO ONE BOX END. IT IS NOT DISTRACTING. THIS IS A RARE VALOR FIGHTING KNIFE MADE DURING THE VIETNAM WAR! TAK FUKUTA ORIGINALLY IN SEKI, JAPAN FOR VALOR KNIVES WAS THE FIRST JAPANESE MEMBER OF THE AMERICAN KNIFE MAKERS GUILD, TAK was an apprentice to MASTER KNIFE MAKER BOB LOVELESS. Over the Years, his factory in Seki, Japan produced knives for Parker, Valor, Gutmann Explorer, Frost, among others. After his Passing, several vintage old Stock models were found at his warehouse.
