Description:
The S&W K-22 Outdoorsman was made from 1931 to 1940, with approximately 19,500 manufactured. The 6-shot revolvers were fitted with a 6 inch barrel, the first early micrometer click target rear sight, patridge target front sight, diamond checkered walnut grips with S&W medallions, were blue finished, and chambered in .22 LR. This gun is as described and was made sometime in the 1939 to 1940 time period. The gun is in excellent original condition, retaining 95-96% original blue, with some thinning at the muzzle, some high edge wear, extremely light scuffs on the right side,and a drag line on the cylinder. The bore looks like new and the action functions the same. The grips fit well and are in excellent condition, showing minimal wear. A very nice example of its type. Gun is all numbers matching (frame to cylinder, barrel, grips, and crane)Sorry, no box or paper-work.
