Description:
26 inch half octagon barrel chambered in the desirable 45-70 caliber with a scarce 2/3 length mag tube. Sights include a Beach combination ivory bead front sight and a Winchester 1886 flip up folding ladder style rear sight. Bright shiny bore with sharp rifling. Barrel retains about 95% blue starting to thin slightly. Receiver has about 25% case color turning a nickel color. Hammer and lever also retain good traces of case color as well as the forend cap. Engraved on the side of the receiver is "A.J. Lynch" that I believe was done at the factory. Deluxe high gloss checkered pistol grip stocks show nice extra figure and are in excellent condition. Hard rubber shotgun style buttplate. Nice original honest looking deluxe special order rifle with a scarce factory inscription.
