Description:
"

Happy Day mine ore samples collected by Steve Elliot on November 12th, 2005. Wyatt and Josie would spend at least 20 winters at the mine. The piece of wood was part of the original cabin used by Wyatt and Josie at the campsite, the cabin was moved to the town of Earp where it rotted away and eventually burned. A reprint of the Tombstone Epitaph, is also included which had The Happy Day Mine Files. These items came from John Flood who was Wyatt and Sadie Earp’s personal Secretary and closest confidant. Mr. Flood even wrote a biography on Wyatt Earp that was never published. He was given and inherited numerous items from the Earp’s. Mr. Flood in turn passed the Earp collection on to John Gilchriese. Mr. Gilchriese owned and operated The Wyatt Earp Museum in Tombstone, AZ, where all of these items were displayed. These items were sold directly by Mr. Gilchriese to David Roberts along with Mr. Gilchriese’s notes on each item. Each item comes with a certificate of authenticity from Collectors Firearms.
