Colt Model 1849 pocket .31 caliber revolver with a 5"" octagon barrel was manufactured in 1855. Metal is a medium brown/ grey patina with surface oxidation noted throughout. Grips retain about 97% original varnish with light handling marks with excellent fit overall. Numbers are matching, trigger spring is weak but functions correctly.
