A wonderful and clean Lyman Plains rifle made by Investarms, and it appears about unfired! Lyman Great Plains 50 Cal. Percussion was originally designed and built by such famous makers as Hawken, Gemmer and Demick, Great Plains rifles were the best and most reliable designs and finest workmanship available. No other factory assembled rifle offers the authentic style and design of Lyman’s Great Plains Rifle. Beautiful rich color case hardened lock, and the Italian walnut stock has fine grainimg and German silver inlays including an engraved Eagle in an oval inlay on the left side. This classic muzzleloader offers such high quality features as a 32″ full blued barrel with 1 in 60″ twist for patched ball and hunting loads, double set triggers, Hawken style percussion “snail” with clean out screw, separate ramrod entry thimble and nose cap, are steel, and a reliable coil spring lock with correct lock plate. Chambered in .50 percussion, with a clean rifled bore and has a hardwood ramrod with a brass tip..When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting.
