J.C. Higgins Model 42 DL - .22 LR Rifle - Manufactured by Marlin similar to the Marlin model 80DL - Fancy smooth pistol grip style walnut stock with coup. Chrome trigger and trigger guard. Butt plate in excellent condition. 24 in . long barrel with open rear sight and bead front sight. Receiver grooved for scope. Includes a New Barska 4x20 scope with rings. Bore is like new , clean and bright. Barrel and receiver are retaining 95% plus bluing. Stock and forend are in excellent condition with very minor handling marks. Bolt action is like new. 8 round clip style magazine. This rifle is in pristine condition. Doubtful if this rifle has seen 50 rounds. Manufactured from 1941 to 1961. SOLD AWAITING FUNDS.
