This Ruger AR-556 is in great condition and an excellent option for home defense or taking out to the range. This AR-556 would be a great way to get into the AR rifle platform because of the ease of changing parts such as the bolt carrier group or charging handle if you so choose. There is also a lot of real estate on the fore end to attach a fore grip, lights, lasers, or anything else you might need, and they use an M-LOK mount except for the top which is a picatinny mount. The picatinny mount can be used to attach iron sights or other optics. The action is smooth with a crisp clean trigger break. 5.56x45mm NATO
