What is interesting is that Wyatt is accused of Fixing the December 2nd 1896 Sharkey-Fitzsimmons championship fight. This item / These items came from John Flood who was Wyatt and Sadie Earp’s personal Secretary and closest confidant. Mr. Flood even wrote a biography on Wyatt Earp that was never published. He was given and inherited numerous items from the Earp’s. Mr. Flood in turn passed the Earp collection on to John Gilchriese. Mr. Gilchriese owned and operated The Wyatt Earp Museum in Tombstone, AZ, where all of these items were displayed. These items were sold directly by Mr. Gilchriese to David Roberts along with Mr. Gilchriese’s notes on each item. Each item comes with a certificate of authenticity from Collectors Firearms. SOLD |
