Description:
This is a nice, vintage Winchester Model 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine Trapper. It has its rare, original 16-inch barrel in .38-40 WCF. The rifle was made in 1917 and has its original blued metal finish and wood stock and forend. There are various dents and bruises, but the gun is in very ncie shape considering it's over 100 years old. The forend is the correct 8-inch forend. The receiver has a nice ring shadow. Plenty of blue-brown patina and a good amount of the original bluing.
