Colt SAA. That is about all that I (think I) know for certain! By the serial number this is an 1875 Cavalry model but I am quite sure that most of this gun is spurious.
..The barrel is a 7 1/2" Cowboy Six Shooter .44-40 which did not come to being for another couple of years. The bore, by the way, is slightly pitted, but very shootable. I do not like the barrel address inscription!
..The frame is obviously black powder so it is an ANTIQUE.
..The grip frame is marked .45 Colt with conflicts with the barrel.
..It should have a bullseye ejector rod
..the hammer is replaced

..The action functions well AND it is a good looking representation of a SAA.
