***SOLD*** Excellent and untouched PRE WAR 257 Roberts. S/N 19*** with matching scribed bolt made 1939. Gun is 100% original with nice finishes, undrilled rear receiver bridge, and a factory inletted and installed early Lyman 48WJS receiver sight with matching component #s. There is also the correct Lyman 12S filler in barrel dovetail. This rifle has never worn a 22g rear leaf sight as evidenced by the lack of elevator track on top of barrel. 97% Blue over most with the beautiful polished carbonum blued receiver of the early rifles, buttplate showing more wear. Wood shows scattered light handling marks throughout but very nice for an 83 y.o. firearm! A difficult to find rifle in an unmolested Pre War 70.
