We normally ship USPS Priority Mail which should be 2-day ship. Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. Shipping insurance is available upon request for an extra fee. We cannot do international sales. As of November 2019, we no longer ship guns to California and Hawaii.

Description:
The New England Firearms Handi-Rifle was designed to provide shooters with a highly accurate rifle at a relatively low weight for traveling long distances with on foot. Its accuracy stems from the nature of its single shot design. This type of design allows for a longer barrel than those present on a bolt, pump, or semi-auto of the same overall length. On top of that, a heavy barrel is used for greater accuracy. The barrel is 22” long and has a diameter of 0.675” (5/8”). The overall length is 37.25 inches. By comparison, a Savage Edge with a 22” long, 0.5” diameter barrel is all the way out to 43.25” – a half-foot longer. This example has wooden furniture. The buttstock is the Monte Carlo type with rubber buttpad. Monte Carlo stocks have a high comb for use with scopes. Normal stocks have the cheek rest too low for use with a scope. The scope used here is an inexpensive but adequate Tasco 4x32 mm fixed power scope. The hammer has a thumb extension for easier manipulation in the presence of the scope. The rifle is in good condition. There is a ring of bluing loss on the barrel near the muzzle which is shown in the pictures. The wood furniture exhibits some handling wear. The scope exhibits some external wear but the view through the scope is good. The bore is in excellent shape although some fouling may be present. Chambered for the .270 Remington, this rifle would be suited for use against deer and other CXP2 game at fairly long distances. It would also be useful for large varmints at very long distances where possible.
