Description:
WW2 3rd Block Inland M1 Carbine 1945 manufactured. A great looking World War 2 M1 Carbine has been through an Arsenal re-work and most likey served in Korea as well. This example is serial number 6798346 and was made in roughly January of 1945. The stock is the correct oval cut low wood Inland stock. The stock is marked in the sling well with a "HI". The ordnance wheel cartouche on the right side is legible. The hand guard is marked "RSG" The metal parts show a GI parkerized finish including the Inland round bolt. The barrel is a 1/45 dated Inland. The barrel is bright with sharp rifling. The muzzle gauges at a 1+ and the rifle passes headspacing tests Most all parts on this carbine are period correct except the handguard and a couple of small parts. This m1 carbine should make an outstanding shooter. The rifle comes with (1) correct original (15) round GI magazine marked "IS". This rifle does not show an Import mark. If you are looking for a nice representative piece or a good shooter this one would be an excellent addition to any M1 Carbine or WW2 collection. PRICE: SOLD
