Description:
This Remington Model 1917 is showing its age. Wear along the butt plate, and along the stock indicate as much. This particular 1917 was manufactured by the Remington factory in September 1918 as indicated by the R and 9/18 at the end of the barrel, however the 'E' on top of the rear sight spring indicates that the original part was changed for an Eddystone factory piece. The cartouches on the right side of the receiver point to a rebuild. .30-06 Springfield
