SUPERB RESTORED WINCHESTER MODEL 21, SKEET GRADE STRAIGHT GRIP GAME GUN. Exceptionally fine condition, a superb refinish w/ meticulous factory style polish marks on action & correct borders of checkering. Finish on butt perhaps a little dull from case contact. Bright shiny bores and mechanically 100%. 12 Gauge, 2 3/4". Manufactured shortly after WWII, 28" bbls. with matt rib. Winchester gauge & chamber markings on side of left barrel. All correct markings & proofs are on barrel. flats. Bottom of barrels stamped "WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL" & marked for skeet 1 & 2 chokes. Splinter has lead plug in weep hole. Standard blued action features non automatic safety ("SAFE" in gold) & blued selective single trigger. "SKEET" is in front of trigger guard bow. Water table has Winchester information & model. Winchester proof is very lightly struck. Straight grip buttstock of nicely crotch figured American walnut measures 14" LOP, Winchester embossed red pad. Point pattern checkering is at grip. Matching beavertail ejector forend is braced & has usual J spring combined w/ knurled button release. MEASUREMENTS STOCK - DAH: 2 1/8". DAC: 1 5/8". LOP: 14". CAST: approx. 1/4" off. WEIGHT: 7 lb. 6 oz. Gun comes in a black canvas case w/ black vinyl trim lined in gray fleece, has Shooting Systems label in lid. 12 Gauge
