Sharp, high condition Marlin Golden 39A 22 caliber rimfire rifle, handling 22 short, long and long rifle rounds, 24" round barrel, blued finish with gold trigger, plain pistol grip, walnut stocks, tubular magazine, open sights with front sight hood, factory sling swivels, receiver factory drilled and tapped for several scope and peep sight options, take down frame, Marlin logo hard rubber butt plate, legendary "Bullseye" in the toe line of the butt, and hard rubber butt plate with white line spacer, serial number AB28592, made in 1966 and thus qualifying as a curio and relic firearm. CONDITION: All blued surfaces retain 92% original factory blue with a few spots drifting to plum. Take down is tight with no wobble and functions properly. Action is butter-smooth and the half cock safety works as designed. Stocks are sound with no splits or cracks, light wear marks, no extra holes, never sanded or refinished, with the butt stock just lightly starting to craze. Bore is excellent, a 9 of 10.
