Description:
J. Stevens light frame reliable pocket rifle, second issue, .22 rimfire, 6" barrel length, SN 36052. Single shot tip up target pistol with adjustable rear aperture and fully hooded front post sights. Frame freatures a nickel finish with a blued finish over remaining components. Two piece bell shaped smooth walnut with dovetail cutout in the butt for mounting a stock. Model features a separate firing pin and the marking J. Stevens A.NT. Co./Chicopee Falls. Mass U.S.A. The initials "RTE" are carved on the left group panel. Item lacks buttstock.
