English Sporting Rifle – Custom – 69 cal – by Tom Faux - Stk #P-27-70
This .69 caliber Custom English Sporting Rifle by Tom Faux has a 34-3/4”x 1-1/4” straight octagon barrel with a 1:66 twist that is fitted with an adjustable rear buckhorn and front blade sight. The blued finish on the barrel and tang is in very good condition with the exception of usage and handling marks. The bore is very good with sharp rifling. Stamped on the left side flat is T Faux. There is a small nick in the metal near the muzzle on the right side. The blued English style percussion lock is in good condition with the exception of minor finish wear. The lock is activated by a double set trigger. The beautifully figured P+++ Maple stock is in very good condition with minor usage and handling marks and is fitted with an Ebony hand checkered butt plate. NOTE: The ram rod on this rifle is a non-working rod for looks; it is not a full length rod. Length of pull is 15”. Overall length is 50-1/4”. Weight is 13 lbs.
