Description:
SOLD. AH Fox 20 Ga. Sterlingworth Skeet & Upland SN # 262582. Mfg. in 1930. Factory letter. This model Fox is almost as scarce as a Unicorn tooth.
Straight grip, ejectors, Kautzky single trigger (rear position) twin ivory beads, splinter fore end. There are estimated to be less than 1000 0f the Skeet and Upland Sterlingworth made in all three gauges. The 20 Gauge is the most desirable for hunting upland game because of its light weight and fast handling attributes.
Weight: 6 lbs. 1 oz.. Barrel length: 26” with original ivory front and mid bead. 2 ¾” chambers. Mint bores . CYL & .010”. Drop 1 3/8 x 2 3/8”. LOP 13 3/8” to single trigger which is in rear position. Buttplate was replaced with original Fox buttplate. MFG 1930.
Made in 1930. Rarest version of the Fox Sterlingworth. Utica, NY. Info From the FOX Catalog circa 1935: Sterlingworth grade, Skeet and Upland Game Gun, made it's debut in the 1935 catalog.. Description from Fox catalog as follows: “To meet the demand for a moderately priced skeet and upland game double gun we have produced the famous Fox-Sterlingworth gun in this new straight grip model.”

I am an FFL Licensed dealer. I include a copy of my FFL, State License and Tax ID with the gun when I ship to your dealer. Dealers can mail or email their FFL to me. I do not have a FAX line.
