This is a rare and original 1890 Shotgun Stock (not a Model 1906 re fitted stock) see my scans. The 1806 butt plate is different in size and is NOT stamped Winchester Repeating Arms in the fashion of the 1890.The metal condition is about average for a 1890 no real scratches or dents . However the finish dose have some typical handling marks and has turned a very nice patina.The wood is in fine condition with no cracks on the stock or the "corn cob". I have recently refinished both (see my scans). If your shooter your going to love this rifle the bore is near mint! The action is also very nice and tight also functions as designed with a smooth trigger pull that breaks like carrot. This fine rifle is a Curio & Relic you will need a FFL.
