***This is a Winchester Jaeger Double Express rifle chambered in 7x57M over 7x57M, Mauser caliber.
These were produced between 1984-85 and were called Grand European double express rifle. This one has a test target dated Sept. 13 1983, so this must be one of the very first made. This is serial number AMSR-44E.
The barrels are both 23.5 inches long with perfect bores, rifle sites and scope mount. Included is a 1.5x4.5 unmarked scope with duplex reticle, steel body 1 inch tube. The stainless engraved receiver features full coverage engravings with both deer and big horn sheep. The length of pull is 13.5 inches long. The wood is high grade, factory checkered. Both the wood and metal are in great condition with little signs of use. It comes in the original factory box with test target and also includes a NICE Winchester case that looks unused.
