Description:
This Winchester Model 70 Featherweight was manufactured in 1961 and remains in very good overall condition. Wood is solid with a few minor scratches but finish is flaking throughout. Original blue is very good with some wear at muzzle, floorplate and trigger guard with some very light oxidation on barrel. There is a scratch near floorplate release that looks like someone has tried to open it with something sharp. Bore is excellent. This is a Controlled Round Feed action with a period sling and Weaver K4 Scope in a Pachmayr "Lo-Swing" mount. Scope does need straightened. This gun has good bones and would make a good project gun! .30-06 Springfield
