***SOLD*** Ultra rare caliber and configuration! This is a special order carbine in 300 Savage, the rarest listed standard caliber of all Model 70s with only 362 manufactured. Naturally, 300 Savages made with carbine length barrels represent a vastly lower number than that. S/N 136*** with matching scribed bolt produced in 1950 with correctly dated 1946 20" carbine barrel, the last year carbines were cataloged, but with limited production continuing until 1954. Positively integral front sight ramp. Overall condition is excellent showing 97-98% Blue, 96% varnish. The mechanical function and bore are excellent. Perhaps a once in a lifetime opportunity to purchase such a rifle! Expedited and fully insured shipping from Alaska is $75.
