Description:
32.-1/2 inch heavy octagonal barrel. Top of barrel marked " *GIRARD A AIGLE* ". Hooded front sight with a tang sight fitting. Counter-sunk muzzle. Set-trigger. Shuetzen-style buttplate. German silver barrel escutcheons with iron sling swivels. Barrel is a dark gunmetal color with scattered oxidation and darkening. Stock has scattered mars and dents. Checkering on the wrist and a cheek piece on the left side. The right side of the forend has a crack. Action needs work as the trigger does not always function. Bore is very good; mostly bright with visible rifling. This one is a brute weighing 14-1/2 pounds.
