Scarce and fine cased set of two Bill Bagwell knives: "Dagger & Gambler's Bowie" Vivian, LA.,1969, carved ebony handle, brass escutcheon, engraved brass guards by Wilton English, and matching brass ferrules. Rare "roped" ricasso feature stamped BAGWELL Vivian, LA with the hammer in the center, a rarity in today's marketplace. Knives are in an absolute, pristine, immaculate condition, no sheaths as they are contained in the original wooden presentation case. From a collector's standpoint this set holds historical significance as it is the only one in existence. The original sharpening stone is contained in its own cut-out as seen in the presentation case. These are the finest Bagwell's you'll ever encounter to date.
