**SOLD** Here is a wonderfully light and nimble Chapuis Progress boxlock 20 gauge side by side shotgun made in France. This piece is in excellent condition with only the slightest edge wear on the muzzle. The coin finish is excellent and is very tastefully engraved with rose bouquets and scrolls. The vent ribbed barrels are choked modified (left) and improved (right). The 3" chambers and bore are excellent - mirror-bright and very clean. The English traditional style straight gripped stock and semi splinter forend are fashioned from Turkish walnut. From the buttstock to the rear trigger measures 13.25" and the distance to the front trigger is 14.25". The receiver locks up tight and sure with the top lever well to the right of center. This would make an incredible quail, woodcock, or dove gun and a solid quality addition to any collection.
