SOLD Remington #1 rolling block 1879 in .43 Spanish (11.15 x 57R Remington Spanish)
This rifle could have been either refinished in Argentina before being exported back to the US,
Or could have been one of Remington's production overruns, as there were many,
that never left this country. I suspect the later because of the beautiful shape the bore is in.
However there's no way to tell for sure, so I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
It has no markings other than the 3 line Remington Patents on the reciever tang, a B on the barrel,
and an R on top of the stock at the buttplate.
The upper and lower parts of the reciever are serial numbered (under the stock), and match.
This Remington is in amazing condition, and the bore looks perfect.
Also comes with a new, correct reproduction military sling.
Antique, so it can be shipped for $75.00 to your door with proof of age.
