This is a Reproduction French model 1777 Calvary Carbine. They are 90% assembled in Canada. Canada cannot make fireable weapons even Flintlocks, so they come to me as non-fireable. A Gunsmith at Valley Forge Arsonal makes the gun fireable. We install an original British gunflint and leather keeper and test fire each weapon with 70 grains of FF Pyrodex with 5 grains of FFF Pyrodex in the pan. These Muskets are Not cheap Made in India, guns that are available online. The Frisson is Case Hardened and throws plenty of sparks to ensure ignition. The Barrell is seamless stainless steel 30 1/2 in length, Overall length is 45 inches.The stock is Walnut. This is the proper carbine for a French or American Calvary impression for the American Revolution. Or a French Dragoon of the Napoleonic Wars. Shipping is $45.00 to the lower 48 with California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii Paying $65.00, Via Priority Mail and including tracking and insurance.
