Description:
Winchester 1892 Lever Action Rifle in .25-20 WCF. The Model 1892 is a lever-action repeating rifle designed by John Browning. It was Winchester's lever-action for pistol-caliber rounds such as the .25-20 WCF and the .44-40. Manufactured in 1904, this rifle has a 24" replacement barrel with circle "P" parts proof & "WP" proof. It has Sporting sights, full length magazine, and a Walnut forearm & straight grip stock w/ steel carbine buttplate. The barrel and magazine tube retain 70% dull faded blue. The magazine tube is dented forward of magazine band. Action has faded to mottled gray brown. Wood has worn appearance with numerous dents, scratches and marks. Forearm has a long crack along the right barrel channel. The bore is bright with strong rifling. .25-20 WCF
