Description:
U.S. Cavalry Colt Single Action .45 Cal. Revolver.  Serial Number 49900.  7-7-1/2" BBL.  Frame bore bright.  3-Line Patent Dates & U.S.  The Colt was manufactured and Inspected in 1878.  The ordnance sub-inspector Henry Nettleton mark is stamped on underside of barrel, frame, trigger guard, top of back strap, side of cylinder, left side of hammer.
The left of the grip J.E.G. Ordnance Inspector Capt. John E. Greer, below 1878.  The right side of the grip stamped HN.  The partical serial number 9900 is stamped on cylinder and under ejector housing.  The Colt Revolver has a crisp action with 99.9 blue finish-case, colors light.  Photos are aprt of the description.  Come with Colt Factory letter.  FFL Required.  MORE PICTURES ON REQUEST.
