I am selling my personal hunting rifle. The rifle is a Rigby Highland Stalker chambered in the historic 275 Rigby. The rifle is in very good condition and has been well cared for. The round count of the rifle is exactly 60. The stock is of grade 5 wood. I did use the rifle for one season so it does have some honest impressions/dings in the stock. Mostly from hitting my shell pouch etc. Nothing a good rub down couldnt remove. Besides the dents in the stock the rifle is absolutely flawless and I truely hate to let her go. The rifle came from rigby with the LOP set at 13 3/4 over a leather covered recoil pad. I did not like the leather pad so I took the rifle to Griffin & Howe and had them install an original red/orange silvers recoil pad which put the LOP closer to 14". I do still have the original pad! The rifle will come with original hard case and paperwork from rigby, Mauser Hexalock 30mm rings, a Rigby canvas and leather thong stalking sling, and a limited edition print from rigby titled "The Jim Corbett .275 Series" by David Southgate.For the 9000 asking price it will also include a Leupold VX-5HD optic in 2-10x42 with illuminated reticle and a custom CDS dial for 140gr Nosler accubond bullets at 2700 FPS. I will accept 8500.00 for the rifle without the optic. Overall this is a very beautiful working rifle that will serve it's owner well for many many years.
