Very nice Republica Dominica 1959 k 98 long rifle in 7x57 no import marks! Mauser military re-arsenal from 1908 Brazilian Mauser's . Not many of these were made considering it was mid 20th century when Dominica republic received these arms this one seems to be mahogany very dark and oily looking not a clear coat The serial numbers match the stock, Numbers,bottom metal does not have same numbers . Gun board database for this series of Mauser's is less than 24 units documented currently!!!!! they were produced between 1957 to 1962 with the highest serial number being 1646. For Mauser collectors this one's pretty rare? serial number 299 On stock and receiver Nice plum brown and barrel and receiver patina, Bottom-metal blue loss and slightly Oxidated Have multiple boxes of commercial sporting in military ammo sold separately $1.50 a round.
