Description:
WW2 2nd Block Rock Ola M1 Carbine 1943 manufactured. A great looking World War 2 M1 Carbine has been through an Arsenal re-work and most likely served in Korea as well. This example is serial number 4253652 and was made in roughly late1943. The stock is a Korean War era Birch Potbelly M2 stock. The stock is unmarked in the sling well. There are no other markings left on the stock or the the handguard other than the painted Korean rack/unit markings applied by the ROK Army. The metal parts show a GI parkerized finish including theround Inland bolt. The barrel is an 11-43 IBM manufactured. The barrel is bright with sharp rifling. The muzzle gauges at a 2+ and the rifle passes headspacing tests. This m1 carbine should make an outstanding shooter. The rifle has a mix of parts including a Winchester slide and Inland trigger housing. The blance of small parts ar of various wartime and post war makers including the Type II rear sight and Type III band. Comes with (1) correct original (15) round GI magazine marked "IA". This rifle does show an a very light Import mark on the bottom of the barrel. If you are looking for a nice representative Rock Ola or just a good shooter this one would be an excellent addition to any M1 Carbine or WW2 collection.
