A super-smooth B-14 action with a coned bolt nose and breech ensures consistent feeding and has a sliding plate extractor for proper alignment. The Hunter model has a molded synthetic stock crafted of glass-fiber-reinforced polymer for rugged durability. Solid steel pillars permanently molded into place ensure a secure and stable bedding surface for the barreled action. Other details include a hinged floor plate and curved trigger with crisp pull factory-set to 3 lb. Rifle comes factory-drilled and tapped to fit Remington 700 style rings and bases.
