Description:
Remington Model 1903, chambered in .30-06 with a 5 round magazine. The date code on the barrel end of this Remington indicates a manufacture date of February 1942. This rifle is showing its age with a fair amount of scuffs and scratches, as well as a few gouges on the underside of the stock. Metal appears to be in decent condition apart from the front sight and the upper band. Various cartouches/proof marks have been photographed including: Circle P indicating the proof testing, Crossed cannons JFA indicates the Ordnance escutcheon and an inspection done by Colonel Frank J.
