Description:
Extremely scarce 28 inch half octagon barrel and 2/3 length mag tube. 44 WCF caliber. The Factory Letter states all the particulars including the 18 inch magazine. I have never seen another 1873 with a 2/3 magazine. I also have never seen one with this button on the end of it. This gun has a set trigger and a good bore. Barrel retains a good amount of original blue starting to thin. Receiver has about 80% blue remaining. Nice traces of case colors on the hammer and lever. Wood is nicely figured with most varnish remaining. This could very well be 1 of a kind!
