Description:
This is a beautiful Perazzi MX8 O/U made in 2000 (BN) 2 barrel; 2 gauge set. Both barrels measure 30-3/4" long, which is 78 cm and they have bright, shiny, and clean bores. Of course they are ventilated ribs that are 11 mm at the breach and 7 mm at the end of the barrel with a white front sight and small steel mid bead. All serial numbers match the receiver. The blued finish is 98% on the receiver and the 12 gauge barrels and 100% on the 20 gauge barrels. The 20 gauge barrels have only been mounted on the gun once and only one box of shells were shot through them. With 15.9 bores they weigh 1.650 kgs. There are 7 chokes for the 20 gauge from Perazzi 0 - 10. There are 9 chokes for the 12 gauge barrels that go from .0 - .035 and they weigh 1.710 kgs. The single "V" spring extra trigger springs are included as is a Perazzi set of repair springs and tools. It is a single selective trigger gun with the selector behind the trigger. It has very nice select walnut that was a wood upgrade at the time of order. The LOP is 14" with the DAC - 1-3/4", and the DAH - 2-3/8" to a black recoil pad. The MX8 was designed for Mattarelli to shoot at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics and has been a staple of the Perazzi line known for its endurance and reliability. It is all contained in a red Perazzi fitted case and includes a stock wrench and a set of 20 gauge snap caps.
