Description:
About 16 bore with 38 inch barrels with dark bores. Barrels are an overall soft brown patina with light scratches and handling marks here and there. The rib is marked “London” with inlaid silver bands at the breeches. Back action lockplates, hammers, and long tang show light engraving with “A W Spies” and game scenes left and right. Engraved German silver furniture. Checkered English walnut buttstock would rate about very good were it not for an old repaired break through the wrist. Would make an interesting wall hanger.
