For your consideration is a box of prewar German S.m.K. steel core ammunition in excellent condition. Prewar German 8mm Mauser is difficult to come by as stocks were used up during the war. Great for a vintage ammo collection or for pairing with a pre-war K98k rifle.
Marked with ordnance code 163 indicating manufacture by Metallwarenfabrik Treuenbrietzen GmbH. This company was later assigned the ordnance code "hlb" when the Germans shifted from numbers to letters. They were a prolific manufacturer of S.m.K. ammunition.
