About Us: I am a longtime NRA Life Member. I am also a Charter Member of my gun club (SGC) Scottsdale Gun Club, of Scottsdale, AZ, which does all my firearm transfers and shipping. I am over 70 and am selling my lifetime collection of firearms. This listing is for a beautiful, almost in new condition: WINCHESTER MODEL 1885 LOW WALL HUNTER, in the very scarce .22 Long Rifle version, which is very hard to find these days! This fine rifle comes with a nice near mint Tasco 3-9X 32mm scope with 1/4" click adjustments and is mounted with GENUINE WINCHESTER FACTORY SCOPE MOUNT BASE AND MATCHING 1" RINGS, made by Talley for Winchester. These are all highest qualility STEEL ( base and rings) that were not included with the rifle and cost me over $150 (2022 retail prices are over $200!) Do not confuse these Factory branded parts with other parts. This is the only FACTORY AUTHORIZED MOUNTING SET FOR THIS RIFLE and the only set that has a very low profile on the receiver-see photos. I am the original owner as I bought this rifle new in box some years back, but, I do not keep the boxes. The rifle comes with scope and scope caps, full length cloth gun sock, original scope mounting part packages, owner's manual and original open rear sight plus an extra sight (from an earlier rifle). This rifle is a well proven shooter that is very accurate and has less than 100 rounds fired through it. Why buy a rifle from a seller who has never fired the gun? This gun is a tested and well proven shooter! This is the later model that has an adjustible trigger and adjustible ejector (behind the hammer). I have only fired target ammo in this rifle (CCI Std. Vel. and SK STD. Plus) never any copper plated or high speed ammo, so, the bore is in almost new condition. This rifle was made by Miroku in Japan, who also made fine firearms for Browning. The quality is outstanding and the wood stocks on this rifle are well above average in fine grain and uniform color-see photos. The rifle is now a Safe Queen as I am over 70 and don't shoot much anymore. Please note that I will not sell the rifle alone without the scope mount base and rings, but, I will sell rifle without the scope. All sales and shipping to the lower 47 States (no sales to Calif.). Please note that the 3 calendar day inspection and return is not for any disassembly or firing of the gun. Also note that if the buyer returns the gun (buyer pays the return shipping and loses the initial shipping as well) to the seller for any reason, the gun must be shipped back to the seller by the same exact shipping service. The buyer must also give the seller at least 3 calendar days advance notice of their intention to return the gun. The buyer's refund will be reduced by all the seller's expenses. The buyer should email all questions to the seller before they buy the gun. After the buyer agrees to buy the gun, the seller will email all details needed by the buyer to complete the purchase.
