Payment Types Accepted: Visa,Master Card, Discover,Check Description: This is a very nice all-original Belgian-made .69 caliber percussion musket complete with an original socket bayonet. There is no date anywhere that we can find on this musket but it certainly appears to be from sometime between the 1840's and 1860's. There is a very good chance that it was used in the American Civil War but no way to know for sure. Given all of the arms shipped in from Europe for the Confederacy, there is a better than average chance it was used in Confederate service. As you can see from the pictures, it is a very handsome musket with a very uniform and even patina on all of the metal parts. The handling marks and wear on the wooden stock are also consistent with the rest of the gun. More description to follow.
