Description:
26 inch round barrel with an excellent bore. Bright and shiny with strong rifling. Metal surfaces retain near all original finish with only light wear and handling marks. Transitional action w/ "Cloverleaf" tang, fitted with Griffin & Howe scope mount holding a Lyman Alaskan 2 1/2 x scope with crosshair & post reticle in low alloy rings & dual lever mount. Scope is very fine with clear optics. Original sights include ramped silver bead front with hood removed and a folding rear. The checkered walnut pistol grip stock with eyelets for detachable sling swivels. Wood has been lightly cleaned and refinished leaving the checkering slightly muted and showing light handling marks. Checkered steel butt-plate.
