Which is indicated by the second set of date codes and the number (3) on the barrel. At that time they shortened the barrel and rib to what you see now. It has a cylinder choke now but came with a modified by the markings from the factory. The bluing on the barrel and receiver are in very fine condition as you can see. With a few freckling spots on each side of the receiver. The stocks show wear and use marks but no chips, cracks or repairs. The left side of the barrel is marked “*** 20 GA. * LW FOR 2 3/4 IN.
