Beautiful custom 22-250 Rem built by master gunsmith Bill Ferguson. Built on highly customized Mauser 98 action,this rifle has several custom features. The features include a hart premium 24" barrel,Blackburn bottom metal,Timney trigger,model 70 style safety,Neidner checkered steel buttplate, wrap around 28 line checkering,and an ebony forend tip. The stock is highly figured dark European walnut with a shadowline cheekpiece. The rifle is in mint condition retaining 100% of the blue and wood finishesThe rifle has a Zeiss 10X scope installed with Talley bases and rings and sighted in. This is a true piece of gunmaking art and is very accurate. The trigger has no creep and breaks at 2 lbs. Bill Ferguson started gunsmithng in Arizona and later moved to Huntsville,Al. where he gunsmithed until his passing. This rifle came out of his personal estate. A beautiful and accurate rifle that could not be duplicated for $15,000 in todays market. Built in 1965,so it is C&R eligible.
