An Early And Scarce U.S. Civil War Sharps Model 1852 Slant Breech Percussion Carbine In Fine Untouched Condition. Serial #4772, all matching numbers. All original and complete. Only 5,000 made from 1853-1855. These carbines were made for The Sharps Rifle Manufacturing Co. by Robbins & Lawrence of Windsor, Vermont. The Carbine has fine untouched metal with all its correct markings. It has nice edges and a wonderful dark and natural chocolate brown patina throughout it. The wood on the gun is fine throughout with crisp edges. All of the brass hardware is excellent with a wonderful mellow untouched color to it. The carbine has a fine bore and action. This Is A Fine Looking Example Of A Scarce U.S. Sharps Model 1852 Slant Breech Percussion Carbine That Is Fresh Out Of A Very Old Collection In Virginia!
