Springfield – 1898 – 30-40 Krag - Stk #C315
This 30-40 Krag Springfield 1898 rifle has a 24” blued tapered round barrel. The metal and finish are in good condition with the exception of sporadic pitting throughout. The bore is in excellent condition with clean sharp rifling. The rifle has an after-market rear sight and front blade. The receiver and trigger guard metal show signs of some finish wear and minor pitting. The Walnut stock is in good condition with the exception of handling and usage marks and features a trap door compartment (empty) for a cleaning kit. The original stock has been sporterized and barrel has been shortened. Length of pull is 13-1/2”, overall length is 43-1/4”, and weight is 7.4 lbs. Our stock number is #C315.
