Description:
In 1976 the Ithaca Gun Company produced a commemorative gun for the 200th birthday of our nation that embodied many of the “classic” features of the prewar Model 37. The guns were 12 ga with a 28-inch, vent rib barrel, choked modified with a silver-colored center bead. The forend is the small rounded pre-war style with the pre-war checkering pattern. The butt stock has the pre-war checkering pattern which goes over the wrist of the stock. The grip cap has a pewter likeness of Lou Smith with a Model 37 over his shoulder. The right side of the receiver is engraved with the Ithaca Heritage Eagle, the left side is engraved with a “Right to Bear Arms” scroll. All parts visible through the ejection port are jeweled. A special serial number sequence was used, starting with USA0001 and ending with serial number USA1976.
Comes in a hard black simulated leather luggage-type gun case with red plush lining factory from Ithaca.
Gun has been used very little. Does have a few marks. Please check pics.  Very nice Ithaca Model 37 and a rare one!     More pics available! Price includes shipping
